We wish to inform you of a significant leadership change within Africa Plantation Capital. Mr. Kioleoglou Kosta, who has served as the Managing Director (MD) for East Africa, has officially tendered his resignation due to personal reasons, on June the 28th 2018. After careful consideration, the Group CEO, Mr. Gary Crates, along with the other Directors of Africa Plantation Capital, Kelvin Sila Kaloki ,Noreen Ajiambo Ogina and Fathiya Karama Issa have accepted his resignation .
Kosta has been a vital part of our team, leading the company’s operations across Africa with dedication and integrity. We are grateful for his contributions and leadership during his tenure. Kosta will be continuing his engineering career in Europe, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
Looking ahead, we are working to ensure a smooth transition. Mr. Kelvin Kaloki Sila, who has been with Africa Plantation Capital since its inception and has served as a Director—as well as Acting Managing Director since June 28th 2018—is expected to be proposed as the primary candidate for the position of Managing Director. With his extensive experience and deep understanding of the company’s operations, particularly in Kenya and Uganda, we are confident in his ability to lead the company toward continued growth and success.
